Dr Basavaraj Girennavar, Managing Director, Criyagen Agri & Biotech received Udyoga Rattan award for the achievement in the field of Agriculture. Dr Basavaraj after completing his PhD at Texas A&M university,United States of America established this organization to work with Farming Community.
Criyagen is working from 6 years in Karnataka to create awareness in farming community about Scientific Agriculture Practices and Sustainable Agriculture.
Criyagen is having technical collaboration with both Agricultural Universities to do Research & Development. Dr Basavaraj is working with a team of dedicated members who are willing to work in rural environment to create an impact in the lives of farmers.
Criyagen has created several jobs in rural areas through which current youth can stay with rural agriculture instead of migrating towards cities. Several improved products are developed from criyagen which are playing a pivotal role in improving soil fertility and increasing soil productivity.
Dr Basavaraj expressed his immense pleasure for receiving the award & was very happy that his efforts were identified for the services rendered to farming community.
